Data Spaces Dialogue | Mobility Data Spaces in the GAIA-X Context
Mobility, logistics, smart cities – how do they interact? Mobility moves people and is a prerequisite for logistics to move goods. Mobility takes place in urban areas. But that’s not all. Our mobile life revolves around data, contextual information that describes, movement data, weather data, about what is happening around us, where, when and why. How can we use this data? With Mobility Data Spaces! Mobility Data Spaces make the right data available to the right people at the right time. They create intelligent solutions for complex urban mobility problems.
In the Data Spaces Dialogue, we provide a first look at real Mobility Data Spaces. We talk about technical interaction and business benefit aspects. And we put Mobility Data Spaces into the GAIA-X context. In addition, we introduce something. What? We’re not revealing that yet.
This year’s Summit will showcase how data and services are shared in the trusting environment of the Gaia-X ecosystem, bringing in consistent business value in the digital sector. Join this year’s virtual event, featuring Gaia-X activities across Europe! This year’s hybrid event holds an extensive audience participation - all at the right place and time.

The 2021 IEEE World Congress on Services will be held as an all-online virtual event. The Congress is solely sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society under the auspice of the Technical Committee on Services Computing (TCSVC). The scope of the Congress will cover all current or emerging aspects of services computing and applications. Centered around services computing, it covers various systems and networking research pertaining to cloud, edge and Internet-of-Things (IoT), as well as technologies for intelligent computing, learning, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and blockchain applications, addressing critical issues such as knowledge network, high performance, security, privacy, dependability, trustworthiness, and cost-effectiveness in the cloud. Particularly, 2021 Congress will welcome papers on the impact of COVID-19 on cloud services and corresponding infrastructure. In addition to colocated theme-topic conferences, the Congress will also include symposia and workshops supporting deep-dive discussions on emerging important topics, and complement the Congress program with industry and application presentations and panels. Authors are invited to prepare early and submit original papers to IEEE CLOUD conference, symposia, and workshops at www.easychair.org. All submitted manuscripts will be peer-reviewed by at least three reviewers. Accepted and presented papers will appear in the conference proceedings published by the IEEE Computer Society Press.

EU Open Data Days - Shaping our future with open data
Data is a key asset for digital transformation. It is a building material for research and innovation, personalised products and services, powerful new technologies and better decision-making. These translate into solutions to societal challenges that can improve and even save people’s lives, as the current pandemic demonstrates. Open data is also freely available to generate value through reuse.
This unique online event will serve as a knowledge hub, bringing the benefits of open data and its reuse to the EU public sector, and through it to people and businesses. Get inspired and discover the latest trends and most innovative solutions!

The annual Privacy Enhancing Technologies Symposium (PETS) brings together privacy experts from around the world to present and discuss recent advances and new perspectives on research in privacy technologies. PETS/PoPETs is the premier venue for novel applied and/or theoretical research into the design, analysis, experimentation, or fielding of privacy-enhancing technologies.
Submitted papers undergo a journal-style reviewing process and accepted papers are published in the journal Proceedings on Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PoPETs). PoPETs, a scholarly, open access journal for timely research papers on privacy, has been established as a way to improve reviewing and publication quality while retaining the highly successful PETS community event. PoPETs is published by Sciendo, part of De Gruyter, which has over 260 years of publishing history. PoPETs does not have article processing charges (APCs) or article submission charges
